2021 Season Recap
EagleForce Drive Team queuing up for a match at 2021 Madtown Throwdown
FIRST At Home: Infinite Recharge
Despite the pandemic conditions that limited our operations, our team was able to participate in FIRST’s At Home challenges which consisted of teleop driving, shooting, and autonomous driving. In February of 2021, we also hosted our first Winter Workshops, which were a virtual format of our EagleCourse Robotics Summer Camps.
When school came back in-person, we were able to grow our team significantly, substantially, gaining more than twice our current amount to nearly twice the previous size. We created formal training and organized new curriculums to efficiently onboard train our new members, implementing a more structured approach.
We also attended the off-season FRC Competition Madtown Throwdown (Madera, CA), where we finished in fifth place out of 25 robots that competed on the field. The Capital City Classic off-season event that Team 2073 EagleForce co-sponsors was unfortunately canceled due to school district restrictions, but we were still able to participate at the Madtown Throwdown offseason event in November. The 2022 Season is approaching soon, and our team is gearing up for the competition!
